Snowy Paris.

We went out and about town yesterday with the sole purpose of taking photos of Paris in the snow, alas, most of it was melty.  We still got some pretty good photos though!  We headed over to the Église de la Madeleine because we needed to fix a problem with Free, our phone provider, at their store, and then walked around till we couldn’t feel our toes.  Paris truly is magical in the snow.

Luckily, as we left for Church this morning The Husband and I were greeted with a welcome surprise — more snow that was still continuing to come down upon Paris!  Somehow, snow makes sights like this in the center of town even more surreal than usual:

Lucky for us we were some of the few to brave the snow.  Having a snowy Paris all to ourselves was truly a treat.

As I sit in bed in flannel pajamas desperately trying to warm up, I dont regret staying outside for so long in the least.  There’s no better way to spend your last day of vacation than walking around Paris taking in a snowy silent city.  Thanks, Paris — I think we get along just fine now a days.
