Chicago

I’ve never known anyone who has moved to Chicago and not loved it.  Its just one of those cities that steals a bit of your heart.

Today, I celebrate and miss my hometown.  Why?  Because its Thursday and I feel like it!

Do yourself a favor and go watch this video — you won’t be sorry, I promise.

No problem! Chicago is close to my heart, so I’m always willing to share things that make it seem cool!

  2. I spent the first five years of my life in Chicago, and our daughter attended college there. I definitely miss going over to visit her, as she now lives in Los Angeles. Thanks for sharing the video, as it truly shows all the wonderful reasons that people love Chicago.

Cute video. So, I’ve visited Chicago a couple of times and love it. It reminds me of one of my favorite book series because its well, set in Chicago. So, when I visit, its like I’m in the book. And well, I’m a self proclaimed foodie, and love visiting Chicago for the pizza. Giordano’s was my favorite 🙂

I love books about Chicago! What is the name of the series — if I haven’t read them, I certainly should! And deep dish is definitely one of the things i miss most about home. I’m a Lou Malnati’s girl myself, though I do appreciate Giordanos! We even got so desperate as to buy some half cooked deep dish from Lou’s and fly it back over here to Paris this summer — I don’t regret it one bit!
